Hanne accrued extensive international leadership experience in the telecoms sector before moving to executive search. She helps technology, digital media and telecom sector clients find their executive marketing, product management and professional services leaders, and helps these leaders build their specialist teams.
Hanne began her career in Product Management with Telenor, one of the world’s largest mobile telecoms companies. She has held several Product Director roles, building large product development and product management teams. Subsequently, she spent several years working as a Global Account Director in global partnerships with BT (EMEA), MCI (Americas) and Inmarsat, selling and delivering managed telecoms solutions to multi-national clients across the oil & gas, pharmaceutical and shipping sectors. Hanne has also held Marketing Director roles where she has built marketing and specialist analytics teams. She has a profound interest in how the boundaries between sales and marketing are currently changing and moving, and believes that legacy marketing skills needs to be supplemented by a host of ‘new’ competences, and that this transition can be achieved without creating new and constricting silos within the marketing organisation.
Hanne holds an MBA from The Norwegian School of Business Administration, specialising in strategy and organisation. She has also trained in change management with the University of Michigan Business School's Executive Education Centre. She has been involved in multiple large-scale organisational transformation programmes working closely with tier one consulting firms such as McKinsey, Accenture and PA Consulting.
